Upgrade of MX and DT

We have commenced work on the upgrade of the tracks from today. We have dozers and other equipment with a heap of dirt going into the MX track and the sprinkler systems all to be rectified. This track will be in top shape for our race meeting on 15 February 2015. The dirt track facility is also currently about to commence today. A complete build-up of the bottom right-hand corner and also new granite surface all ready for the Kings and Queens.
For social riding these tracks will be closed, however, we will be having a dozer upgrading the Kumagutsa track next Thursday and will be using the Kumagutsa for rec riding over the next three week-ends. After that the track will then be rested and top soil will be laid for readiness for AMCROSS.
After the 15 February 2015 we will be looking to prep the MX track on a regular basis for social riding and watering to control dust. The track will be prepped on the week-end of 21-22 February 2015 for a rec ride The nippers track on 21 February 2015 will also have a kick-start course.
We are committed to turn this facility into a top class place to race and ride socially.
Remember, the club will be giving away a 250 4-stroke bike at the end of the year if you race six or more rounds of DT or MX. So all join up to be members and be a racer at one of our meets.
We apologise for the facility being unavailable over the next week but look forward to seeing you all at the club shortly.
